Overview of Course

RPL or Recognition of Prior Learning is a way of gaining accreditation for previous learning and development or skill acquisition. It is not a learning type course but a way for you to gather and present evidence in order to be assessed for a qualification.

If you have demonstrable competency and relevant experience in the frontline management area and/or other relevant qualifications it may be possible for you to gain Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and/ or Recognition of Current Competency (RCC), for part or whole of this Qualification.

The Frontline Management Institute is a VETAB Certified Registered Training Organisation and we can issue nationally recognised qualifications in this area. Statements of Attainment can be issued for individual Units.

Option 1 – Self Managed Process

This is an economical option for people with relevant experience and/or relevant related qualifications that are willing to manage the gathering and preparation of the evidence themselves using our customized Evidence Guide for RPL and/or RCC.

The Evidence Guide is supplied as a printed manual and also as an electronic document for you to complete.

Option 2 – Workshop Guided Process

This option may be applicable where there are 10 or more people in your organisation applying for RPL/RCC.  We will run a one-day workshop where we will discuss evidence requirements, preparation of evidence and presentation of evidence for assessment.  This option is designed to assist those who feel they need a more detailed explanation of the RPL/RCC process.  It also provides an economical option for an organisation, which has a number of staff that has experience, and/or related qualifications yet require formal frontline management qualifications.

Longer workshops are available by request. This service is available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland. The price for the workshop is by negotiation dependent on numbers enrolled.
