Open Learning

The Frontline Management Institute provides Open Learning versions of its Frontline Management courses.

The Frontline Management Courses are available as Open Learning Programs for people who cannot attend face-to-face training. This flexible option is suitable for people who may be working as frontline managers in a fairly remote location, working on shifts or perhaps working overseas on business.

Participants are supplied with an electronic Learning Guide for the Course by email. The Learning Guide recommends further reading for the course.

Participants are also supplied with electronic Assessment Guides so they can undertake assessment leading to a qualification.

Participants can enrol in individual short courses through open learning or can undertake the Qualifications of

Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) or

Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management) or

Certificate III in Business (Frontline Management).

Learning Outcomes and content are as for individual

Frontline Management Courses FM01 to FM11.

FMI provides Learning Guides for Open Learning. These are Word Documents sent as email attachments or on a CD. Selected written and website resources are also recommended.

Participants must have a computer with email facilities and a program that will use Word documents to use this Open Learning facility. All communication is by email and email and telephone help is provided.

This delivery method is useful for participants unable to attend face-to-face training, in remote locations, overseas on assignment or on shift work.
