Assessment Services What is assessment? Assessment is the process where The Frontline Management Institute reviews your assessment submission to check that you can demonstrate your competency against given standards.
Assessment Services We specialise in designing assessment that measures workplace outcomes and is performance based. We have our own specialised instruments for assessment and a team of qualified skilled assessors.
As part of our consultancy services we can develop assessment strategies and instruments to meet your organisation’s needs for particular programs.
For the Frontline Management Programs we can offer electronic methods of assessment reporting as explained below.
Putting your learning to practice Once you have completed the learning content for the learning guide you are ready to put what you have learnt into practice. This is easy as the assessment guide outlines in detail the type of things you will do. You will find that each of the tasks relates directly to the normal day to day operation of business. Every manager who participates in the program undertakes a similar range and scope of activities. The only difference is that the tasks will be directly related to current work situations that you are involved with. Thus both you and your business benefit from the task outcome. When you reach this phase of the program it is recommended that you discuss the nature of workplace task with your manager. This is to gain their agreement to its scope.
The Assessment guide You must complete the entire assessment guide. The sections of the Assessment guide include: Learning You will list all relevant learning you have done. Authenticity We check that the work is actually undertaken and that it is yours. Your manager will be asked to sign off in this section. Note that without this sign off the submission is void. Knowledge questions To verify your understanding of the topic Workplace tasks For you to show how you have applied your learning to the workplace
Writing up your workplace task You write up your workplace task in the assessment guide. There are simple charts for you to complete. You are guided to provide the range of information we need.
You just need to ensure that you complete every chart. Sometimes you may also be asked to insert documents that are examples of the relevant workplace documents you have generated. These documents also provide proof that the work was undertaken by yourself.
You will work with a mentor and / or your workplace manager who will sign off on your project work component of the assessment.
